Endurance Coach – Katie

Growing up playing soccer, basketball and tennis in high school, I have always been active through team sports. After high school, I continued to pursue fitness through running, signing up for my first marathon in 2006 just to prove to myself that I could do it. I ended up falling in love with the sport, completing several half marathons and marathons during my college years.
I eventually dabbled into the triathlon world in 2012, completing my first Olympic race. Just like marathon training, I got hooked on the sport and the new world it opened for me. Since then, I have enjoyed racing all distances, including two Ironman and a handful of Half Ironman races.
Throughout my quest, I have been blessed with great friends and mentors who have helped me tremendously along the way, which is the main reason I enjoy the sport so much. The community and support you receive is like no other and I have come to love helping athletes become stronger, both mentally and physically, ultimately becoming the best they can be. My mentality will always be: work hard, play hard!
