Ben S

Since I was young, I have been enthralled with athletic competition and our bodies physical capabilities. This love for sport and human physiology lead me to attend the University of Wisconsin Madison – which is where I was able to compete for the Badgers and where my innate passion for human physiology was further developed. Now, I will be pursuing a masters degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and serving as a personal trainer at the PAC. Being as a personal trainer at Prairie Athletic Club is an incredible opportunity for me, as it combines my longstanding passion of human physiology with my utmost joy of serving others.

FITNESS PHILOSOPHY

Since my athletic career has ended, I have had to relearn what it means to have a healthy relationship with exercising. Because of this, I have dedicated much of my personal time to find the delicate line of being able to challenge oneself, while still maintaining a love for being active. This intricate balance, coupled with disciplined behavior surrounding our time in  the gym, are the two key staples of my fitness philosophy.
