Personal Trainer – Tammy
I grew up tumbling from an early age and followed that passion into coaching tumbling and gymnastics. After obtaining my degree in Community Health Education at Iowa State University I worked at YMCA’s in Wisconsin as a Health & Fitness Director, Personal Training Manager & Personal Trainer for over 15 years. I now bring that passion, experience, and drive to the Prairie Athletic Club as a Personal Trainer.
My training philosophy is to inspire my clients to work to their potential by creating innovative and engaging programs with their specific goals in mind. I encourage functional training that strengthens the total body concurrently with proper nutrition and meal timing.
I specialize in working with recreational exercisers, rehabilitation patients, and active older adults. I am passionate about using the TRX and enjoy showing others how to incorporate it into their workout plan.
