Fitness and athletics have been my passion ever since I can remember. I grew up as a multiple sport athlete. Through training for these sports I developed an interest in the science and application of strength and conditioning methods. I pursued degrees at Carroll University to further my education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning.
First and foremost, safety always takes priority in my training and programming. My philosophy focuses on using principles that are evidence based and scientifically proven to work. To have success in a program for an individual or for teams, training must be tailored to that specific population and their goals, to reduce the likelihood of injury and increase performance. I’m a huge proponent on perfecting foundational movement patterns that are seen in sports or daily life. Aside from developing strength both physically and mentally, my goal is to educate as much as I can on why we do certain things, as there should be a reason for everything put into a program.
