Intro

I spent most of my life living a largely sedentary lifestyle.  For years, I had many failed “diets” and “fitness journeys”.  One day, I decided enough was enough.  I was truly “sick and tired of being sick and tired”.  I took a chance on myself, invested in a Personal Trainer, and my life has forever been altered.

At the beginning of my journey; I was severely out of shape, paralyzed by ‘gymtimidation’, and told my trainer “I will never run”.  Through my fitness journey; I have gained energy and confidence I never knew was possible, debunked all the gym stereotypes I believed, and started training for a 5K I swore I would never do.  It was through my own journey that I developed a deep passion for helping others find movement that brings them joy & confidence; because I’ve been there.

Fitness Philosophy

‘Working out’ doesn’t have to be dreadful and fitness isn’t just for athletes.  We are all made to move!  Each person’s relationship with movement is different, so each person’s movement journey is different.  My goal as a Personal Trainer is that you feel equipped to move confidently & safely through activities you enjoy while also tackling your goals.  I believe fitness can be fun and goal oriented, those aren’t mutually exclusive.  Together, we can tackle your goals, one step at a time!
